THE GENERATIONAL DEBATE
The Generational Debate is a yearly debate competition organized by the Jenta Reads Community Initiative and its partners. It is organized for the purpose of opening up discussions on the most pressing issues, especially in relation to youths. The 2020 edition is the second in the series and will hold from 14th September to 3rd October 2020.
To participate in the debate, interested teams should register here or pick form at Jenta-Reads Community Library, ‘C’ Avenue, (along Catholic Church road) Jenta Mangoro, Jos.
Registration is free and open from 14th September 2020 to 3rd October 2020.
Eligibility:
1. Teams comprising of atleast 3 participants and 1 mentor. (Maximum number is 5).
2. All participants must be between the ages of 13-20.
3. Participants should be available to physically participate in the debate from 12-17 October.
PRIZES
First Prize - N50,000
Second Prize – N30,000
Third Prize – N20,000
Awards, Books, and other prizes.
Debate topics will be communicated to participants after registration.
